Is Polymark really as good as it sounds?
Better. Almost every plant owner who switched to Polymark says "I should have done it years ago."

How many tags come off?
NONE. As long as the operator uses the machine as trained you will have no lost tags.

Is it difficult to learn how to use the Polymark machine?.
The Polymark machine is really simple to operate. There are no operator adjustments and each order is handled exactly the same way.

You say Polymark is faster than tags and staples. I have a very fast tagger. Will Polymark make him faster?
Polymark is an excellent production tool. A fast tagger given Polymark, should double production or better.

I'm out here in the country, how do I get service?
Polymark's rugged construction is designed for the laundry industry. It often takes a lot of abuse and given very little maintenance yet continues to work. It stands up under the most adverse conditions and still continues to perform well. It is dependable and if necessary, replacement parts are readily available for overnight shipment.

I'm seriously thinking about investing in a Polymark System, what parts should I order with the machine?
It is not necessary to keep any spare parts. New and remanufactured machines carry a 12-month warranty against defective parts.

The rugged Polymark machine is well constructed and built to last. There are no "Planned Obsolescence" parts.
For example:

After 10 or 15 years of use, some plants wish to have their machines "tuned-up," and a loaner machine is available until their machine is returned to them.

How fast can I get a Polymark System shipped?
A new machine, immediately, or within 30 days. A remanufactured machine, immediately, or based on availability.

What kind of glue do you use to make the tag stick?
There is no glue used. The tape is a specially woven soft cloth made of cotton and acetate rayon threads and fibers. The Adhesion Control Fluid lowers the melting point of the acetate rayon fibers, and the thermostatically controlled heat and application pressure, seal the tag onto the surface fibers of the article. No process in the plant will affect the adhesion of the tag.

What articles can't I mark with a Polymark machine?
The only article that you should not mark directly is one that has acetate rayon fibers. Actually an acetate rayon shirt should be dry cleaned and not be laundered, as a damage claim could occur.

When I bought my shirt unit I wanted to start off on the right foot and hired a demonstrator to train my operators. Do you offer someone I can hire to train my people?
